Nicky, the thought of you playing human darts is hysterical.  But I think we can all just go bowling instead.

I'd maybe vote for Everest Experience were it not for the pain and suffering that was The Rebuilding Year Of Mizzou Mock Trial, which ended in our stunning 1-7 (or was it 1-6-1?  I forget) finish in St. Louis.  Sweet sassy molassey.

Thornhill was awesome.  Physical evidence, big color photos, interesting arguments...it was a fun year.

I didn't so much mind the case last year, I got sick of seeing teams get into a rut.  If I saw one more Calhoon get on the stand and whip out a piece of paper to explain the terribly difficult proposition that 10 x 10 = 100, I would have flipped.
I post in my personal capacity, not on behalf of AMTA.

God I hated those photos.  A "bullet-hole" that looked like Wendell Tucker's head was drill-pressed, and "blood" that looked like black ink.  They couldn't even open up photoshop, or even MS paint, and change the color to red??

I can't tell you how many times as Gerch I had to face the "Oh, so you say there was blood everywhere, eh?  Well, where is the blood in this picture?" cross.  They could have at least put more than two drops of ketchup on the damn desk.

You ever look at those photos?  One has him wearing a watch,....the other does not.....not too many people picked up on that.  Soooo....that was a surprise when I crossed Gerch on it!

Yeah, I got crossed on that, too.  That one, however, was pretty easy to wiggle out of.  "I inventoried his effects and put them into evidence."  Next line of questioning, please.

Good call....but I made several cops look stupid because they never knew that line was coming....that was the bad part about "scouting"...by the end of the tourney....everyone was using it.

Yeah, I had to bust out that line on my Monarch cross. That was the worst cross ever. There was just nothing there... except that she saw Lyons poking around the crime scene, and she apparently stole Tucker's watch. :)

My vote is for Everest Experience.  My reason:  Jan Darma Sherpa.  The greatest witness ever.

I will however say that I've done all five...and at a tie for second are the Ruel Ellis case and this year's case.  I can't get over the entomologist from that Ellis case...what a ridiculous witness.  There were so many creepy mock trial "bug" guys walking around that year.

I have done the last three cases.  My favorite case has to be this year.  I love the fact that I can get into the case because it has to do with sports.  The best witness is by far Mike Harmon.  This case may not have a lot of great witnesses, but I think it makes up for it in many areas.

i dunno if it makes up for it in my opinion, but i'll give you that mike harmon is an amazing witness.  so many ways to play it, so many things to do with it...
