Thank you to everyone who came out to New York this weekend to compete at CUBAIT. I hope you all enjoyed competing as much as we enjoyed hosting everyone.

Congratulations to Miami University of Ohio, the CUBAIT 5 champions (and first ever two-time champions). A complete tab summary should be up later tonight.

On behalf of NYU 565, I want to thank Chicago, Wake Forest, Miami Ohio, and Northwestern for four excellent rounds.

Congratulations to Miami Ohio on your win. Our round against you this morning was certainly one of the best during this tournament.

On behalf of NYU 564, we have to extend our gratitude to Michigan, Northwestern, Furman, and George Washington for 4 very fierce rounds.  All 4 of them played extraordinarily well and provided for a very competitive weekend.  It was a pleasure playing all of them and wish them all the best in their regionals.

As always, we enjoyed spending our weekend with the AMTA community, even through the blistering cold weather.  We hope everyone has a safe trip home.

Although I hate to follow the same format that everyone does after these tournaments I suppose a thank you and congratulations is owed to Columbia, Chicago, NYU and Furman on good rounds...

congrats to Lauren, David, Mollie and the rest of the people that make CUBAIT one of the best run tournaments of the year on another successful go.

Thanks for the kind words Sho... the same goes to you

I judged four rounds this weekend, and Columbia put on their usual excellent tournament.  Congrats to all involved in the putting the tournament and to all of the winners.  To those who did not win, this is a valuable lesson -- bring bigger bribes for me next time.  The line between an 8 and a 9 is as thin as a $100 bill (okay maybe two or three).

Read that:

On Pros, NYU 564 did the following in ranks:

1,1,1,2 Tuminelli.

2,2,2,1 Bryant.

None of their opponents ranked higher than 3.

Another example of Jimmy acting as NYUs biggest cheerleader... Just wondering if you are on their payroll, or you do this because of a crush you developed on justin matarrese and vik kumar?

improper opinion!

we've heard no testimony that this witness is qualified to testify as to what a handsome man looks like
