Wow. Insanely tough call. I foresee Irvine, Cal, UCLA and ASU taking all six spots between themselves.

Did Fresno really go 8-0 at regionals and only get one of 65 votes?  This tournament is ridiculous.

Wow, I can't believe Fresno only has two votes. Didn't they just go 8 - 0 at regionals, taking 2 ballots from Irvine A in the process? I think the image people have of the 2 to 3 team west coast domination might get a little shake this weekend.

I have finally decided that Nur Rauch is not the Minnesota mock trial competitor that he claims to be. There is only one human alive that could be allowed to make comments so frequently and make such crummy predictions . . .  Lou Holtz! Leave us alone Lou, we see enough of you on ESPN; mock trial is our sacred escape from your predictions and your lisp!

This competition will start the ORCS season off well. I am excited for all of the teams involved.  Selecting six teams, without insulting at least one or two well deserving programs, is difficult here. Safe travels and have a fun weekend!

This field isn't even remotely fair.  Good luck to everyone attending.

I've judged the Fresno A team.  They deserved their success and are an excellent team.  I don't think it's too ridiculous for the voters to select teams like UCLA A, Irvine A, ASU A, Cal A or others ahead of them.  Fresno's primary success this season came at that one regional tournament.  Some of the teams "in the lead" here have had much invitational success.  Irvine, ASU, UCLA have all won at least one invite this season. Those schools enter 6 teams and that's enough to shut out great schools like Fresno,  USC, Stanford, etc.

I believe Fresno St. had a strong showing at the UCLASSIC.

I think this is a really tough field full of excellent teams, but Fresno did have some invitational success.

They finished 10th....I mean...5-3 at UCLA is good....but are you really saying that's the kind of invitational success enjoyed by UCLA or Irvine?
