I think CUBAIT and the Downtown are tougher, but I have to do this:

ASU's Michael Anderson Memorial Challenge (formerly the Revolution):

17/24 were offered or earned ORCS bids (Note: We don't bar people's C and D teams.  In fact, we welcome them because we're a local tournament)

6/24 to the NCT.  (Also note that we had two Cal in attendance as well as Air Force, all three of whom were expected to make the NCT).

Plus we put real juries full of real people in 19/48 rounds.  We also had more than enough judges.

All I'm saying is don't rule a tournament out because its field is largely regional.  Especially when that region is the west :)

That said, my money for best tournament is on the Beach Party.  That tournament is remarkable in every way.

Is that a challenge?  ;)

GAMTI:
ORCS: 24/24
NCT: 10/24 with 4 teams still competing

Downtown:
ORCS: 18/18
NCT: 9/18 with 4 teams still competing

BAM! Challenge completed! You're amazing. If you have any more facts, numbers, or percentages- I'd love to hear 'em.

And CUBAIT was all B teams from what I know.

Um, Iona was at CUBAIT, and we don't have a B team.  However, our two co-captains this year were blond-haired girls, and blond begins with "B" so maybe you are on to something here. . . .

I have to stick up for my tournament in this thread as well....  While the CCIT at Elon is no where near the level of GAMTI, the Downtown or the Beach Party - I like to think we hold our own here in North Carolina.

Here are our stats:

19/23 earned or were offered bids to the ORCS

8/23 earned bids to the NCT - (Also note that we had two GW's and two Richmond's - who I would argue each deserve at least one spot in Memphis this year)

With that Elon wishes to congratulate CCIT participants Furman, Duke, UVA, UGA, W&L, and Vandy on earning bids to Memphis.  Good luck to everyone in there preparations over the next few weeks!

CUBAIT finished up strong with 10/24 qualifying to the NCT.  Congrats to Yale and Brown!

I'd whip it out and measure it with everyone else but... 1) I'm at the airport and don't want to get arrested and 2)

Thanks so much for all the input ya'll! So now I have to ask, how does a program get invitations to a tournament like Downtown, Gamti, or Beach Party, etc..?
And is there any place I can get any more info on any of these top tournaments?
Thanks again! :-)

Not sure about the beach party, but I'm pretty sure the Downtown and the GAMTI only invite teams that competed at the previous year's NCT, with a few exceptions (I think Harvard was at this year's Downtown). And generally they start with the top 10 in each division and work their way down.

NYU and UVa both have great websites for their respective tournaments.

For GAMTI, we have criteria which rely on factors such as a team's finish in the NCT, previous GAMTI finish and ranking in the BBR.  We generally try to stick to a standard list of criteria to avoid playing favorites with teams.  Of course, it never hurts to email Toby and let us know you're interested in coming!
