  • Pre-Nationals Individual Rankings

Working on the assumption that ORCS Double-Sided Awards > Regional Double-Sided Awards ≥ ORCS Awards > Regional Awards, I scored and ranked all competitors who awarded at either Regionals or ORCS using the following formula:

Regional Award Listed Ranks (if double-sided, the higher of the two values)
    + ORCS Award Listed Ranks + 6
    + 6 (for each double-sided award, 12 max)
    (Tie-breaker: Sum of above - (.001*BBR))

    Without further ado...

Really gives you an idea of how much parity there is in this activity, and how easy it is for a big win or loss to affect someone's visibility.

Emily Shaw from Chicago got 20 ranks at regionals and 18 ranks at ORCS, and she'll be competing at Nationals!

Zach Jones. 20 ranks at the Greenville ORCS and 17 at the Atlanta Regional. UGA A pulled him up. Put him on here.

If Zach Jones is the only person they pulled up, then every member of Georgia's team made this list. Kudos to them.

Also, much respect for Elizabeth Smiley...17+ ranks as both an attorney and a witness in Regionals and ORCS is amazing. It's one thing to get 20 ranks in one role on one side. It's another to just be good at mock trial as a whole. #1 on this list deserves it.

Cool list! Audrey Glaser and Gabriel Bronshteyn are missing regionals ranks.

Nice list, but you're also missing Caroline Veniero from Chicago 1244. 16 ranks at Joliet regionals, and she'll be at nationals!

This must've taken forever to compile. Great work!

If you get a chance, add Eve Feldberg from Tufts 1212. 20 ranks at Boston Regional, and she'll be coming to Orlando!

As crazy as it is, don't forget Rhodes Freshman Zach Monroe who 40/40'ed the Jackson Regional but did not even compete at ORCs that I can find. However a friend of mine from Rhodes says he will be competing in Orlando

                        You mean 20/20'ed. Or 40'ed.
I post in my personal capacity, not on behalf of AMTA.

One more: Brian Wandawa from UChicago 1243 (formerly 1245) ranked on both sides at the St. Paul regional and is going to Nationals.

                            Pre-Nationals Individual Rankings

If Bob Costas was predicting the top five, how would he phrase it?
