Duncan has amazing potential for character points... and if you combine that with the fact that Nelson is almost always dry and paired up with Montgomery (two experts), Duncan looks way more appealing. Even with the contradictions between the two, Rodgers/Montgomery/Hathaway seems like a better call than any scenario involving Nelson.

    • Any witness can be a point farm, it just depends on how they're played.

Depends on your case theory and personnel.

Fair points, and those apply to all cases/witnesses.

With that said, for the purposes of this thread, we have to discuss useless witnesses. To the extent that a witness could be useless substantively and in regards to presentation, Nelson hits the nail on the head this year, in my opinion.

          • What about the chauffeur that was added after ORCS to the Owens case? Tony something I believe? I don't remember that affidavit containing any good information, and I don't think I saw any team call that witness...

            • Obvious answer: Jordan Nelson, mid-year case stats had him being called in like 3% of rounds or something.
