Different lineups and different judge, I bet. ;-)

Their lineup was the same, ours was different with one witness. And of course, different judges.

Did anyone use or face a Shilts at Hamilton?

            I liked it.

But it depends on your case strategy. We called a Rubenstein and Kiko in addition to Shilts, and a lot of our case strategy was hinged on the whole "Is Prison the right place to send Bobbi?" sort of thing, and Shilts played into that very well.

I don't think a Shilts would work well into a case strategy that formerly a Kraus, Darrow, Rubenstein, or something of that sort, but then again, I haven't really put my mind to it.

              Shilts.
              Montana.

I am quitting MT if I ever see something like that again.

I would have died. That must have been the most boring lineup ever. You have my dearest sympathies for having to sit through that one.

I imagined who would win in a fight. Thats the only thing that kept me going.

In our third trial of the season, we faced a Dritz, Ash, Rubenstein lineup.

My team called Shilts on both sides at Waukegan. I thought they both worked nicely, but we needed to do a better job explaining why our defense Shilts was important. The prosecution Shilts worked very well.

I disliked shilts a lot. Prosecution maybe.

                          Shilts was terrible.

                            Re: Strange draws/lineups

My team called a defense Shilts at silvers, because we had a guy that fit the role near perfectly. The direct was awkward (it's hard to get a guy to say that he sucks at his job and that Bobbi will die). However, some funny crosses did result. My favorite was one where a crossing attorney wanted to abstract everything and talk about the growth of the pie. Our guy had some fun with it.

"Sir, we can agree that the pie is growing?"
"Well, do you mean my piece of the pie or the pie as a whole?"
                            "THe pie, sir."
"Well (scratches beard)... I mean, what is this pie?"

                            Hilarity ensues.

That is just about the only real way to go about it. What did you decide? My money would be on... well, no one really. All equally inept.
